The Scottish Scholarship in Pakistan Candidates studying either of the following are eligible for the Scotland Pakistan Scholarship for Young Women and Girls:
HEC scholarships Undergraduate students
• Undergraduate program for a bachelor’s degree with a duration of four years at any Pakistani university approved by the HEC
HEC scholarships Master’s students
• Master’s degrees from any HEC-approved university in Pakistan, with a two-year maximum master’s or MPhil program.
Study Fields:
Only one of the following topic areas may be pursued for a four-year bachelor’s or two-year master’s degree at a Pakistani institution accredited by the HEC:
- Education
- Sustainable Energy
- Agriculture and Food Security
- Medical Sciences
- STEM fields—only for Masters degrees

Scholarship application Criteria:
Applications for these scholarships are only accepted from women.
Furthermore, candidates need to:
- Be citizens of Pakistan who is present in Pakistan
- enrolled in a four-year bachelor’s program or a two-year master’s program
- Verified admission offer from a Pakistani university approved by the HEC.
